Prices & VAT
Prices on DAJOLKA.net are shown in Danish kroner (DKK). When entering the webshop, prices are generally shown including 25% Danish VAT.
The VAT or MVA finally charged depends on the customer type and country of delivery.
Danish customers
For customers in Denmark, Danish VAT is charged in accordance with applicable rules.
Private customers in the EU
For private customers in other EU countries, DAJOLKA charges the local VAT rate applicable in the customer’s country of delivery. The VAT is reported and paid via DAJOLKA’s registration under the EU OSS scheme.
Companies in the EU
For companies in the EU with a valid EU VAT number, sales may be invoiced without Danish VAT under the rules for intra-EU supplies, provided that the conditions for this are met.
Private customers in Norway
DAJOLKA is VOEC-registered with the Norwegian Tax Administration, Skatteetaten. For sales to private customers in Norway, DAJOLKA charges Norwegian MVA at the time of purchase when the order is covered by the VOEC scheme.
Shipments under the VOEC scheme are sent with the necessary VOEC information, so Norwegian MVA is generally paid at the time of ordering.
Customers outside the EU and Norway
For customers outside the EU and Norway, ships in international traffic, and other customers where sales may be made without Danish VAT under applicable rules, prices apply excluding VAT.
Local rules may apply regarding customs duties, import VAT, charges and fees in the destination country. Such costs are generally paid by the customer, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
Orders will normally be calculated according to the information shown in the webshop. If VAT, MVA or freight cannot be calculated correctly automatically, or if you are entitled under the above rules to purchase without VAT, DAJOLKA will send an updated order confirmation. If you pay by payment card, the amount will be adjusted accordingly before the payment is captured.
Placing an order
When you place an order on DAJOLKA.net, we will automatically send you a web order confirmation by e-mail showing which products you have ordered. The web order confirmation is therefore NOT a binding agreement, but only information about the goods you have ordered and a receipt confirming that we have received your order.
DAJOLKA therefore reserves the right to cancel the order due to printing errors, technical problems, supply failures, errors in the calculation of VAT, MVA or freight, and similar situations.
Once we have processed your order, we will send an updated order confirmation by e-mail if there are any changes, for example in connection with VAT-free sales, local EU VAT, Norwegian MVA or changed freight price.
Freight and shipping
DAJOLKA uses POSTNORD for sending parcels and letters, freight carriers for pallet goods, and, where relevant, delivery by carrier or DAJOLKA’s own vehicle.
When you go to checkout to complete your purchase, you must select a delivery method. The webshop suggests several delivery options, including:
- collection from DAJOLKA
- shipment with PostNord as a private parcel with or without home delivery, or as a business parcel
- day-to-day delivery by freight carrier
- delivery when convenient by DAJOLKA’s own vehicle
- DAJOLKA chooses the shipping method; the price will be stated in a new order confirmation
The shipping price is calculated automatically as far as possible when you check out of the webshop. If the webshop cannot calculate the shipping costs automatically, “DAJOLKA chooses the shipping method” will be selected instead.
When you receive the order, you should check parcels and pallet goods for any transport damage before signing for receipt. Once you have signed for receipt, the carrier’s obligations regarding transport damage cease. DAJOLKA is not responsible for transport damage.
If you request flexible delivery, meaning that the goods may be left at the address without you being present, you also assume full responsibility for any damage or loss. A request for flexible delivery must be entered under “comment” in your address information.
Sales abroad/export
We are happy to sell and deliver goods to customers abroad.
For sales to private customers in the EU, the customer is invoiced with the local VAT rate in the customer’s country of delivery, and the VAT is reported and paid via DAJOLKA’s OSS registration under the EU scheme.
For sales to companies in the EU with a valid EU VAT number, the order is invoiced without Danish VAT under the rules for intra-EU supplies, provided that the conditions for this are met.
For sales to private customers in Norway, Norwegian MVA is charged via DAJOLKA’s VOEC registration with Skatteetaten when the order is covered by the VOEC scheme.
For sales to customers outside the EU and Norway, the order is invoiced as export without Danish VAT when the conditions for this are met. The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, charges and fees in the destination country, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
If the webshop cannot calculate freight, VAT, MVA or export information correctly, we will send you an updated order confirmation, where this has been corrected according to destination and customer type.
Delivery time
We strive to dispatch goods on the same day as you order, no later than 10:00 for pallet goods and 12:00 for parcels and letters. However, larger orders and pallet goods may require an additional day before the order is dispatched. You will therefore be able to receive most goods 1-3 days after ordering.
For most goods, the webshop shows how many units we have in stock. If your order exceeds the number we have in stock, additional delivery time may apply. We will try, as far as possible, to inform you of the delivery time.
Acceptance
When you complete your purchase on DAJOLKA.net, you accept DAJOLKA’s terms and conditions.

Right of withdrawal
At DAJOLKA, private consumers always have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period runs from the day the goods are received.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us before returning your goods by phone at +45 42 41 51 39, by e-mail at salg@dajolka.dk, or by completing the withdrawal form.
Return shipping is paid by the customer, who is also responsible if the goods are lost or damaged during return shipment to us. You have 14 days to return the goods from the day you notify us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
If the goods have been used, the refund amount will be reduced by an amount corresponding to the diminished value of the goods. This also applies if the packaging of the goods has been damaged.
We therefore recommend that customers exercising their right of withdrawal use a traceable shipping method and keep the receipt until the return case has been completed.
Business customers do not, as a rule, have a right of return. Please contact us by phone at +45 42 41 51 39 or by e-mail at salg@dajolka.net if you are a business customer and wish to return goods.
Right of complaint
At DAJOLKA, private consumers always have a 2-year right of complaint on all our goods. The right of complaint applies from the day the goods are received.
For business customers, the right of complaint is 6 months.
If your item is defective upon receipt, or if a fault occurs during use within the complaint period and is not caused by incorrect use, please contact us by phone at +45 42 41 51 39 or by e-mail at salg@dajolka.net before returning the item.
Retention of title
Ownership of the purchased goods remains with DAJOLKA until full payment has been made.
Liability
DAJOLKA shall never, including in cases of delay or defects, be liable for the customer’s indirect losses, including operating losses.
Errors and omissions
Reservations are made for typing or spelling errors in connection with goods and prices on this site, as well as sold-out goods that can no longer be obtained.
Incorrect delivery
We naturally apologise if we deliver the wrong item. If this should happen, please contact us by phone at +45 42 41 51 39 or by e-mail at salg@dajolka.net.
In most cases, we will be able to send you the correct item immediately together with a parcel label for the return shipment.
